Every number is derived, never typed
A game is an append-only log of what happened. The box score, playing time, plus/minus and play-by-play are all folded out of that one record, so they cannot disagree with each other.
Undo that actually undoes
Mis-tapped a rebound onto the wrong player? Correcting it appends a correction and recomputes. Nothing is ever silently rewritten, and the record of the game stays honest.
The gym wifi does not matter
Everything is recorded on the device first. Offline is the normal case, not the failure case, and a game survives the app being killed mid-fourth-quarter.
