Terms

These terms are between you and Four Loop (“we”, “us”), in the United States. By using the StatTable app, this website, or the team portal, you agree to them. If you do not, do not use StatTable.

StatTable was called Courtside until 25 September 2026. If you agreed to the Courtside terms, these are the same terms: only the name and the contact address changed.

If you are agreeing on behalf of a school, club, or organisation, you confirm you are authorised to bind it, and “you” means that organisation.

StatTable records a basketball game as a log of what happened, and derives the box score, playing time, plus/minus, and play-by-play from that log. It is intended to replace a paper scorebook for a single team’s games.

It is a recording tool, not an official scoring system, and it is not a system of record for any league, association, or governing body. It does not adjudicate the rules of a game: it reports rule state and never refuses an entry, because the record has to be able to say what actually happened.

StatTable is in beta. Features may change or be removed, the service may be unavailable, and data formats may change between versions. Do not rely on StatTable as the only record of anything that matters to you.

We recommend exporting or printing a game you need to keep. The app can produce a box score you can save.

Accounts do not exist yet. When they do, you will be responsible for the credentials on your account and for what is done with it, and for telling us promptly at hello@thestattable.com if you believe it has been used without your permission.

Teams will have roles: administrator, coach, statistician, and viewer. Whoever administers a team decides who holds which role and what they can see.

The information you enter is yours. Rosters, games, rules, and schedules belong to you, not to us. We claim no ownership of them, and we do not use them to train anything or to build a product for anyone else.

You are responsible for the right to enter it. By entering roster or player information you represent and warrant that you are authorised to do so, including where a player is a minor, and that you have obtained every consent or permission your school, club, league, or applicable law requires. You are responsible for responding to a player or parent who asks what you hold about them.

You also agree not to:

• ·enter information about a person you have no right to record;
• ·use StatTable to harass, defame, or endanger anyone;
• ·attempt to access another team’s data, or to circumvent the roles that govern access;
• ·resell or redistribute StatTable, or use it to build a competing product;
• ·interfere with the service, or use it in a way that breaks the law.

If you use StatTable in a way that puts other people at risk, we may suspend access without notice.

What we collect and what we do not is set out in the privacy policy, which forms part of these terms. In short: today the app keeps your games on your device, and this site runs no analytics.

The StatTable app, this website, and the software behind them are ours, along with the StatTable name and mark. These terms give you permission to use StatTable; they do not transfer any of that to you.

Feedback you send us is welcome, and we may act on it without owing you anything for it. That does not give us any claim over your team’s data.

StatTable is free to use today, and pricing has not been set. We have not decided what StatTable will cost, whether there will be tiers, or how a beta team will be treated when we do.

We will not start charging you without telling you first and giving you the choice to stop.

StatTable is provided as is, without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including any implied warranty of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that any figure it produces is correct.

A statistic StatTable reports is derived from what was entered. If the wrong thing was entered, the wrong thing comes out. Check anything you intend to rely on.

Some jurisdictions do not allow these exclusions, in which case they may not apply to you.

To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost data, lost games, lost profits, or lost opportunity, arising from your use of StatTable.

Our total liability for any claim relating to StatTable will not exceed the greater of the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim, or one hundred United States dollars.

Some jurisdictions do not allow these limits, in which case they may not apply to you.

You can stop using StatTable at any time, and delete the app to remove the games stored on that device. Once accounts exist you will be able to ask us to close yours by writing to hello@thestattable.com.

We may suspend or end your access if you breach these terms, or if we stop offering StatTable. If we discontinue the product we will give you reasonable notice and a way to take your data with you.

When these terms change we will update the effective date above. If a change materially affects your rights we will say so plainly rather than relying on the date alone. Continuing to use StatTable after a change means you accept it.

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of [state], United States, without regard to its conflict of laws rules. Disputes will be brought in the courts of [county or district], [state], and you and we each consent to that jurisdiction.
